I've been trying to find a way to compare data that seems to only be found on the analyze page between hospices. As far as I can tell there isn't a convenient way to do this so that I could save the comparison as well as any graphs it may make as well for future use. The main reason that we want to do this is to compare our hospice with the outcomes that other hospices' have. I could also just be missing something.
Hello AJ,Thank you for making contact with Trella Health Support.Yes, there is not a good way to compare Analyze page metrics between hospices. Let me suggest a couple options.First, a question, which table/metrics do you want to compare.Options: 1) On the Explore page, if you select "Hospices" you can compare any hospices of interest.- click on the heart next to any hospices you want to compare- click on the toggle for FavoritesThen only the hospices you want will appear in the Explore page table and you can compare them.2) Let me know which table you want to use to compare from the Analyze page with a list of hospice NPIs. I can export an Excel Spreadsheet with the desired table.3) Click the question mare in the bottom right of Marketscape and choose "submit an idea." Request that you be allowed to use your custom lists in tables on the Analyze pages. A lot of users want to be able to do this. We need enough requests in order to get it into the pipeline.Thank you and have a great day!Charles Fox | Support@TrellaHealth.comHOS Help Center | https://HOSSupport.TrellaHealth.comHHA Help Center | https://HHASupport.TrellaHealth.comSNF Help Center | https://SNFSupport.TrellaHealth.com
Thanks for getting back to me! The hospices that we’re trying to look at are:
CARE PARTNERS
BRISTOL HOSPICE - OREGON LLC
BRIGHTON HOSPICE OREGON, LLC
SIGNATURE HOSPICE
SERENITY HOSPICE
SEASONS HOSPICE & PALLIATIVE CARE OF OREGON, LLC
KINDRED HOSPICE
HOSPICE CARE OF THE NORTHWEST, LLC.
PROVIDENCE HOSPICE
LEGACY HOSPICE SERVECIES
ADVENTIST HEALTH
The comparisons that we’re trying to run are over these stats:
Hospitalization Rate 30-day readmit rate
RN Visits Last 7 Days State RN Visits Last 7 Days Aide Visits Last 7 Days State Aide Visits Last 7 Days RN Visits Last 3 Days Aide Visits Last 3 Days Length of stay by Diagnostic
Category.
I noticed that I can find the green stats for all of the hospices, the orange ones can also be compared between the hospices relatively easily my only problem here is that I can only compare seven at a time. The last one is the specific
table that I couldn’t find a way to access any comparison between the different hospices and we’d like to be able to compare. Would it also be possible to compare the patient age for the Hospices as well?
On a slightly different but related note, we received a presentation from Trella that went over market share by county looking over the Q2 data and I couldn’t find a way to create those charts through the website. Would I have to export
the data to excel to do that or is there a way in the program to make it happen that I’m missing? If so, that would be much preferable so that, as to my understanding, it would automatically update as new data comes out. I attached the comparison that I’m
talking about to this email as well.
Thank you so much for your help with my questions!

Hi Liz,
I did utilize that feature to an extent; however, I would have liked to also have been able to access and export all of these tables into excel from here which I am currently unable to do. When running our comparisons, I also ran into the problem of only being able to compare a total of eight hospice groups. Since our organization is in a relatively competitive area being able to compare more groups would have been useful. So instead, I went through the long way of exporting each set of information from the analysis page of the specific hospices.
I also found that the comparisons offered in the presentation were only about the average visits, 3 & 7 days, length of stay and a quality summary. We were looking to compare length of stay through the varying conditions that are being treated rather than a general ALOS or MLOS. It would also be nice if it could have included the state in the comparisons to get a more general comparison as well. On a similar note, if you do end up implementing these different comparisons as automatically generated charts, potentially being able to look at the counties for comparison would be interesting if you have that data.
Thanks for the help,

Hello AJ,
Thank you so much for your idea. We'll monitor it for interest.
I'd also suggest a workaround in the meantime: Go to the Analyze page of your Hospice or any Hospice that you want to compare. Hit the Presentation in the upper right hand corner. Choose the other Hospices you want to see. And then a series of tables/charts will render comparing your choices.
Does this help at all? If not, which metrics or details are missing?
Thank you!
