it would be helpful to see a hospice utilization (mortalities) metric for hospitals. showing a metric on how many patients died while on hospice care. if that utilization % is low, it could be used as an opportunity to educate the hospital on the benefits of hospice.
I would love to see this story told alongside the Outcomes by Settings data. It would be awesome to enhance and simplify the impact data to show when the opportunity is missed to refer patients to hospice upon discharge.
