A critical metric for calculation in HHVBP is the ER Utilization without Hospitalization metric. HHA's have little to no visibility to the metric due to limitation with EHR and report provider tools that are unable to capture the ER claim. HHA's are limited in projecting scores and implementing planning strategies to improve care and reduce cost for CMS until CMS data is available.
