Add ability to filter physician exploration by top two or three Patient Diagnostic Mix categories.
The ability to filter in this way will allow hospice agencies and other users to research and identify providers who serve a high percentage of patients with a specific diagnostic mix, for example, Circulatory System.
Thanks Liz. In short, yes I do! Ill try to illustrate my thoughts the chronic condition search is great for users seeking one specific condition, but in my hospice experience Ive found that specialty programs revolve around a broader set of conditions. For example, a trella user seeking providers who treat patients eligible for their heart or cardiac program would likely want to seek those who treat a wide spectrum of conditions like hypertension, heart disease, heart failure, atrial fib, etc. I usually look for providers, one at a time after applying my other usual filters, with a high patient diagnostic mix (Trella Diagnostic Group in the Patient Population tab) of Circulatory System they tend to have the chronic conditions I mentioned toward the top of their Chronic Condition analysis under the Patient Population tab. Or if a user is looking for providers for a memory care program they could additionally search for those with a high diagnostic mix of perhaps Nervous System and get returns for the chronic conditions that fall in that category like alzheimers, senile dementia, stroke or various vascular conditions that may cause neurological issues. So, the ability to search for by patient diagnosis would absolutely help for my purposes. Or, an ability to search by multiple chronic conditions at the same time may be a work-around as well. But the patient mix category is the solution that makes sense to me. Id be interested to know what other users with specialty programs think, for sure!

We are going to move this to Future Consideration and see how many other users would find the addition to be valuable. Do you find that specialty programs align more closely to Trella Diagnostic Categories than Chronic Conditions?
Thanks so much Kyle! Will continue to review and consider for development.
